The rider added: “Having ridden around the world, I am all too aware of how vital pool betting is to the sport’s financial ecosystem in the most successful racing nations. Big Pools Big Value Worldwide

In conjunction with the historic Hong Kong Jockey Club and racecourse partners, the Tote has promised to continue to showcase the exciting betting opportunities created by World Pool. The initiative has produced enormous pools on the world’s biggest races. In turn, these have provided excellent value to racing fans that bet with the Tote online, on racecourses, and via the the best online betting sites that work as Tote partners.

The Tote has been a core part of British horseracing since 1928 when it was established by Parliament – under Winston Churchill as Chancellor of the Exchequer – to give the public a safe way to bet and provide vital funding for the sport.

The company currently employs 200 people based in the Tote’s main office in Wigan and its satellite office in London. It is the pool partner of all 85 British and Irish racecourses and, according to the organization, is “backed by racehorse owners and breeders from around the world who believe a stronger UK and Irish host pool is an essential component in the successful future of the sport, as is the case in other successful racing jurisdictions.”
